尹大卫警告，分离讨论可能威胁国家经济，并削弱加拿大团结。他还提到，美国近期再度出现关于“加拿大成为美国第51州”的言论，而联邦政府已明确拒绝这种可能性。

上周，史密斯宣布，今年10月阿尔伯塔居民投票将被问及：是否支持继续留在加拿大，或启动举行正式独立公投的法律程序。

外界普遍认为，这场投票将成为加拿大近年来最受关注的政治议题之一。

Crying babies always have something to blame. In their minds, these are all the fault of others. It was in fact the fault of the environment protectionism of the whole world in the past decades. Those advocates felt that environment protection was much more important than economy improvement. Just because they obtained so many financial supports and never felt empty pockets.
