FBI局長斥美媒控其醉酒、缺席報道不實 揚言提告
美國聯邦調查局（FBI）局長帕特爾（Kash Patel）強烈否認《大西洋月刊》（The Atlantic）壹篇指控其管理失當及行為不當的報道，並揚言要提出訴訟。

美媒《國會山報》（The Hill）報道，此前《大西洋月刊》刊出題為「FBI局長失蹤」的文章，引述20多名在職及前FBI官員、國會議員、酒店業員工等人士匿名說法，指帕特爾多次在白宮等場合「飲酒至明顯醉酒」，其保安團隊更曾因他似醉酒而難以叫醒他。
報道又指，帕特爾經常「缺席」、不在總部辦公室，並曾因無法登入內部計算機系統，而「驚慌失措」致電助手及盟友，以為被白宮解雇。
