in 2008 when he chose me to be his master thesis supervisor at Lanzhou University. The major reason for me to accept his application (for graduate program) is that he was extremely well trained in Physical Geography and in GIS-Remote Sensing and Spatial Analysis during his four years of undergraduate study. I should add that he used past three years of his master-program study (2008-2010) quite efficiently in: (1) strengthening his understanding of eco-hydrology and eco-climatology, (2) further mastering the fundamentals and techniques of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Remote Sensing, and (3) learning more about spatial analytical theories and software. Being already a well GIS-equipped physical geographer, his research dimension was further extended to the area of regional-scale climate modeling.
In addition, he is an outgoing person with a warm passion to help others. All in all, I am here supporting Mr. L
