埃萊娜動情表示，母親壹生為家庭付出，如今輪到她來照顧母親，“她總是把家人放在第壹位，現在是我回報她的時候”。

目前，親友已發起籌款活動，希望幫助承擔高額醫療及轉運費用。家人仍抱有希望，期待未來能在加拿大實現真正的團聚。

No travel insurance? No problem. We have GoFundMe to raise money to cover the costs. GoFundMe is a good way to help those in need. But those who asked for help in this case should not be encouraged for not purchasing travel insurance by taking chances. Even though somebody else would like to help. But it is not always possible to get enough donations from those kind-hearted people.
