当地时间18日，日本(专题)首相高市早苗在参议院预算委员会上表示，目前暂无向霍尔木兹海峡派遣自卫队的相关计划。
自美国和以色列(专题)对伊朗(专题)发动军事打击以来，霍尔木兹海峡航运几乎完全中断。美国总统特朗普(专题)近日向北约成员国和韩国、日本等盟友施压，要求他们派军舰赴霍尔木兹海峡护航，但应者寥寥。
霍尔木兹海峡连接波斯湾和阿曼湾，是多个中东主要产油国原油出口的必经之路，通过该海峡运输的原油约占全球石油运输总量的五分之一。
