由於東海岸暴風雪影響航線，球隊原本的返程航班被迫改降邁阿密。周壹抵達佛州後，隊員們只休息了幾個小時，周贰早上9點便再度起飛，抵達馬裡蘭州的聯合基地安德魯斯（Joint Base Andrews）。
下機後，球員們在跑道上與軍人合影留念。下午，他們帶著金牌出現在白宮草坪上。
不過，並非所有球員都能出席。部分隊員需返回NHL備戰常規賽。例如Jake Guentzel 當天就需代表球隊出戰。
