美国犹他州普若佛（Provo）一场国庆活动发生意外，其中几枚烟火发射后，竟然没有飞往天空，反而失控冲进观众席与球场，导致至少6人受伤送医，据传其中一人也遭炸伤脸部，惊险画面在社群媒体上流传。
ABC与福斯新闻等媒体报导，为了庆祝7月4日美国独立日，杨百翰大学（Brigham Young University）拉维尔爱德华兹体育场（LaVell Edwards Stadium）每年都会举办名为“火焰体育场”（Stadium of Fire）的庆祝活动。

未料，在今年升旗仪式的军机表演期间，烟火失控冲入人群，现场民众惊恐大叫，多人受伤送医，表演一度暂停。据信至少1人脸部受伤，1名表演者差点被击中，而发射烟火的舞台甚至燃起小火，幸好很快就被扑灭。
