Less housing sales= less taxes collected= government less income
What to do with less taxes collected?
Government will raise other taxes, gas taxes, payroll taxes, income taxes, housing property taxes, higher icbc insurance rate, higher this and that.
So who will get the bills?
You and me, all of bc residents.
